After a mini pause run are stoked to present their next party!
Taking place on Saturday April 22nd at the intimate and funky Fluid Bar the bass quaking, jazz tinged techno tones of Phillippe Quenum will be cascading from the decks…

Phil has been a strong player on the techno scene for a number of years, from his days in Access 58 together with Paulo Nascimento collaborating with and remixing the likes of Cari Lekebusch, Steve Stoll, Tony Anderson and way too many others to mention, to his more recent outings and new direction in style on Cadenza and Num Records.

His earlier minimal hit “Orange Mistake” with Luciano kicked things off again with its twisted funk and incessant hook. This has been followed up by a further release on Cadenza and the formation of Num Records which, in the last year or so, has destroyed many a dancefloor thanks to various collaborations between Quenum and Lee van Dowski.

More recently Phil has been active as a solo artist releasing tracks on Trapez Ltd and remixing Butane and Someone Else as well as staying busy for the future…keep an eye out for some upcoming releases on Pnuma, Logistic, Defrag, Plak, Liebe Detail as well as a new Cadenza release…

Next on the line up we have the fantastic Leif and Tom Ellis. Together they run the great up and coming label Trimsound as well as put out records on some notoriously good labels such as Morris Audio, Logistic, Textone & Archipel.

Leif has been down to play solo with records and a box of tricks at a couple of run parties before and worked the floor with his fluid bass and funky beats but this time it’ll be really special! Tom Ellis and Leif playing live together in a set up that includes Tom playing bass guitar…it’s gonna be wickedly funky!

Further support dj support will be provided by the decknician known as Andrew Lo-Train. Apart from his regular Friday night residency, Iloveaki at Café 1001, Andrew is the dude behind minimallondon providing a meeting point for all of Londons various collectives and individuals.

Resident dj support will be courtesy of Chris Box.

Hope to see you there!
